Confederazione Veneziana sees the educational support of deserving individuals as one of its primary objectives.

Student Grants

The Student Grants Scheme aims to provide a modest level of financial support to deserving university students who are facing unexpected financial difficulties.
Applicants must have been born in (or be currently resident, or have lineage links to) any of the territories which constituted the Venetian Republic; other territories of birth or residence may be considered at the discretion of the Awarding Committee.

Research Grants

The Research Grants Scheme aims to encourage excellence across the whole scientific field, in order to promote the advancement of sciences for the benefit of the public.
The scheme is currently targeting research projects undertaken, by researchers of outstanding ability, in areas specifically related to Confederazione Veneziana's objectives. PhD research projects - leading to the award of a PhD degree - may also be considered at the discretion of the Awarding Committee.

Police Forces Grants

The Police Forces Grants Scheme aims to support members of the Venetian Police Forces, seriously wounded in the course of duty, who wish to undertake or are already undertaking a university degree course.
A special thank you to these individuals in uniform who risk their life every day to protect our civil society from criminality.

We urgently need the support of individuals, foundations and businesses in order to increase the capital reserves of the 'Grants Fund' - for every €2,000 disbursed in grants, we need €60,000 of capital to provide the necessary income.
