Student Grants

Confederazione Veneziana sees the financial support of deserving university students as a primary objective.

The Scheme aims to provide a modest level of financial support to deserving university students who are facing unexpected financial difficulties.

In all cases, the student will be asked to provide details of his/her financial situation, any other applications made, and to provide references. In most cases the student will be invited to a confidential discussion with a member of the Awarding Committee before any firm decisions are taken.
The number of bursaries awarded each year will be at the absolute discretion of the Awarding Committee and will depend on the actual financial situation of the Fund.

We urgently need the support of individuals, foundations and businesses in order to increase the capital reserves of the 'Grants Fund' - for every €2,000 disbursed in grants, we need €60,000 of capital to provide the necessary income. Please consider Making a Donation to the Fund (however large or small) or Establishing a Prize (either to celebrate a special occasion or as a perpetual tribute to a loved one).
