Our vision is to make Venetian heritage a source of pride, connection and inspiration for every citizen of the Venices.

The mission of the Venetian Heritage Society is to raise public awareness, understanding and appreciation of Venetian heritage in all its forms, and to promote its relevance and importance to the life of all communities in the Venices thereby increasing the commitment of the Venetian regional governments to its protection and preservation for future generations.

As part of its activities, the Society will be promoting and supporting education and research on Venetian heritage, and disseminating knowledge and information pertaining to it. It will also organise conferences and debates as a basis for public discussion of its projects and with the aim of encouraging community involvement to a level which will guarantee the permanent retention of our unique Venetian heritage for the benefit of present and future generations.

The Venetian Heritage Society aims to work in partnership with international organizations, government departments, local authorities, voluntary bodies, academic institutions, businesses and private individuals. It will however compile and launch its projects independently of any particular interest. This independence is ensured, on one hand, by a conscious diversification in its base of financial support and, on the other hand, by the integrity of the members of its Board of Directors and its Advisory Council.
