There are many ways in which you can contribute your expertise,
ranging from supporting our Helpline
Service to maintaining our website; from joining our research
units to helping with the financial management of the organization;
from giving internal lectures in your field of expertise to
preparing grant proposals; from organizing fund-raising events
to translating research publications into other languages.
And you do not need to be a member of CV in order to contribute
your expertise. Some people in fact may not wish to become
members but still want to support Confederazione Veneziana's
work.
We are currently looking for volunteers with expertise in
any of the following areas:
- law
- accounting
- business planning
- financial management
- marketing
- information systems (IT)
- website support/maintenance
- media-relations
- fund-raising
- languages (English, German, Dutch, Scandinavian, etc.)
- organizing public events
- producing publications
- creating advertising material
- preparing grant proposals
You can work at the times that suit you best, and in a role
that fits in with your interests. And helping CV will not
leave you out of pocket, as the organisation will cover any
travel costs.
Contact us even if your area of expertise is not in the above
list. Whatever your professional expertise, there are many
ways in which you can contribute to our efforts. And, your
contribution - however large or small - will always be welcome!
By volunteering your expertise you will have the satisfaction
of playing an active part in the fight for institutional reforms
and heritage protection in Northeast Italy.
As a volunteer, you will be sharing in the daily life of the
organization and you will have the possibility of having your
saying in the planning and execution of CV's activities. You
will also be able to give feedback on the organization's performance
and you will be supporting public awareness of CV's work.
Furthermore, you will have the chance of meeting and getting
to know other individuals who - just like you - strongly believe
in CV's mission. And, needless to say, you will be able to
obtain discounted tickets at all CV events (at higher discount
than normally reserved to members), and you will have preferential
booking and allocation of seats. You will also have preferential
access (and a special discount) to all of CV's in-house Continuing
Education training courses.
As a volunteer sacrificing your time and revenue, you will
also receive public recognition and appreciation during CV's
annual dinner.
When you clock up 150 volunteer hours/year you will receive
the special Saint Mark lapel pin. At 300 h/year you will also
receive an engraved pen in a deluxe gift box, and at 500 h/year
you will receive a special certificate on parchment attesting
your invaluable contribution to the organization.
Furthermore, when you clock 500 hours you will have the right
to take part in all of CV's Special Events where participation
is by invitation only.
