However, unlike a one-off donation, you would never lose your capital as it would be returned to you at the end of the agreed period.

What Is an Interest-Free Loan?
Using formal language, an interest-free loan consists in granting Confederazione Veneziana "the right to use a portion of your capital for a set period of time". Practically, you will be making a revocable transfer of funds to Confederazione Veneziana.
In the event you have a need for these funds (or for any other reason), Confederazione Veneziana will return them to you at any time upon demand.

What will Confederazione Veneziana Do with Your Funds?
Confederazione Veneziana can invest your funds and use the interest earned to fund its operating expenses - in other words, you will be donating to Confederazione Veneziana the interest earned by the capital you loaned us. Or Confederazione Veneziana can use your loan to undertake major projects and activities. In this case, you will be providing Confederazione Veneziana with an ideal alternative to borrowing from lending institutions, as we will not be paying any interest on the capital loaned.

What Are the Benefits to You?
As the donor, you will have the benefit of making a meaningful contribution to our mission without any loss of capital.

Is the Loan Temporary?
Yes, it is. As mentioned, the loan is revocable. In other words, if you have a need for these funds (or for any other reason) we will return them to you at any time upon demand.
However, some donors may decide for the loan to be of unlimited duration and with the potential for a bequest of the funds to CV. While it is not required, a donor can in fact choose to bequeath the loan to Confederazione Veneziana at her/his death.
